Medeco premium high security knob-type cylinders incorporate our UL437 Listed patented high security locking technology with triple locking mechanisms and drill resistant inserts. Constructed of solid brass, these cylinders are used in cylindrical locksets, deadbolt locks, and padlocks of other major manufacturers to provide unmatched security.
Often used to complement extensive small format interchangeable core (SFIC) installations, KeyMark® retrofit knob-type cylinders add patented key control to many manufacturers' locksets. By simply replacing the knob cylinder, you gain legendary Medeco key control without the expense of changing out hardware. Additionally, you are able to integrate key-in-knob style locksets into the same keying system as other SFIC locking devices. Constructed of solid brass, these cylinders will provide years of service and key control.
Many cylinders have a standard body size that will fit into multiple applications with various tailpieces. The additional high security features in Medeco3 such as angled rotating pins allow for larger master key systems than are available in KeyMark.
